Captures blanches: f2?#8212;e3?#8212;d4?#8212;c5?#8212;b6?#8212;a7 puis a2?#8212;Fb3
Captures noires: e7?#8212;d6?#8212;c5, f7?#8212;Fe6 et h?#8212;Pg pour promotion en g1
Le PNa ne peut avoir été capturé en tant que Pion sur a7 (la position du FN en b8 serait illégale); il s'est promu en a1 après a2?#8212;Fb3; a2?#8212;Fb3 étant la dernière capture blanche, la pièce promue est encore présente au diagramme.
On a alors 2 hypothèses s'excluant mutuellement :
1) PNa=Th8: le 0-0 noir est illégal
2) PNa=Ca6: le CN est sorti via b3 ce qui entraine la séquence a2?#8212;Fb3, b3-b4 suivi de b2-b3; avant a2?#8212;Fb3, la TDB et le FDB étaient encore incarcérés (dans l'hypothèse 1, ce n'était pas démontrable car b2-b4 suivi de a2?#8212;b3 était possible); le FDB a ensuite été consommé par d6?#8212;c5 (e7?#8212;d6 pour laisser sortir le FRN est bien antérieur) mais la TDB est encore présente au diagramme; c'est la Th1 (la TRB a été capturée par e7?#8212;d6) et le 0-0 blanc est illégal.
Les roques sont subordonnés.
