- Blacken some cells of the grid [on paper] or color the
gray cells of the grid either black or white [interactively].
- The black cells divide the grid in areas of
orthogonally-connected white cells.
- The white areas must not touch each other
orthogonally.
- All cells with a number belong to a white area; to a white
area belongs exactly one cell with a number. The number indicates how many
cells belong to the white area.
- The black cells may not cover an area of 2x2 cells or
larger.
- All black cells must form a single orthogonally contiguous area.
Additional Rules:
Every single clue is wrong, and has one and only one peer among the other
clues of the grid. Once the clue and its peer switch places they will be
correct clues. The “?” clue has no peer, and its length will be forced. Same number
clues cannot be peers of each other. e.g. the two 8s must each have some other
number as their peer.
